We’re grateful to gather with you for our Annual Convention — a time when the people of our reunified Diocese come together in worship, in conversation, and in shared purpose. Convention is both sacred and practical work: prayer and policy, discernment and decision. It is where our common life becomes visible.

This is our second year as one Diocese. Last year was a year of listening, adjusting, and learning new rhythms together. We were finding our footing — clarifying roles, building trust, and discovering how to move as one body. It was good and necessary work.

Now we begin to move with greater confidence.

We come not simply to maintain what we’ve built, but to grow from it — rooted in our shared history, strengthened by our unity, and attentive to where the Spirit is leading next. Over these days, we will give thanks for the foundation beneath us and look forward with intention and hope.
