FT Rector | St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Ripon, WI
St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Ripon, Wisconsin, seeks a faithful, joyful, and grounded priest to lead our historic and vibrant Anglo-Catholic parish into its next chapter. For more than 160 years, St. Peter’s has been a place where faith, beauty, and community meet—standing along the Gothic Mill Pond with its beloved red doors, soaring sanctuary, and generations of ministry woven into the life of Ripon. This is a full-time position with a spacious rectory complete with updated kitchen and four bedrooms.
We are a warm, close-knit, and fiscally strong congregation rooted in traditional liturgy, reverent Anglo-Catholic worship, and deep hospitality. Our life together includes weekly catered coffee-hour lunches, active formation for adults and children, digital ministry through livestreaming and podcasts, and signature community traditions such as our Blessing Box, Veterans’ outreach, backpack ministry, and the annual Dickens of a Christmas Open House. Children participate fully in parish life through acolyting, streamers, activity totes, and intergenerational events.
We seek a rector who can inspire us with excellent liturgy and preaching, offer steady pastoral care, value the role of music in worship, and joyfully engage with life in Ripon—a small, lively college town with abundant natural beauty and easy access to Madison, Milwaukee, and Green Bay. Our ideal priest is collaborative, compassionate, organized, and excited to help us grow in discipleship, outreach, and welcome—especially to families with children and newcomers seeking a spiritual home.
