Think of Province V as a ministry collaboration zone—a kind of “neighborhood” within the national church, where leaders, congregations, and dioceses come together to learn, grow, and do more than we could alone.

Why It Matters:

Province V is one of nine regional provinces of the Episcopal Church in the United States, encompassing 11 dioceses in the Midwest—including the Diocese of Wisconsin. Together, we form a supportive network of dioceses working collaboratively to resource one another, share ministry innovations, and live into God’s call across state and city lines.

Province V mission is:
Connect. Support. Collaborate.

In Province V, we “tell it in the light” (Matthew 10:27-31), celebrating God’s promise of renewal within the Episcopal Church in the Midwest. To do this, we:

  • Connect people to people and people to resources.

  • Support each other in a variety of ministries, resourcing from within and without.

  • Collaborate across multiple dioceses to build capacity for demonstrable impact.

By being part of Province V, the Diocese of Wisconsin has access to:

  • Shared formation and training resources

  • Province-wide networks for Young Adults/Campus Ministry (YACM), Dismantling Racism, creation care, and more (Click here to view them all!)

  • Events and conferences (like the Big Provincial Gathering)

  • Project incubators that help local ministries thrive

  • A collaborative voice in broader Episcopal Church governance and mission

We are stronger together—and Province V is how we live that truth out in the heart of the country.
