What Is Province V?

Learn more about Province V’s networks, events, and how to get involved:

Why It Matters:

Province V is one of nine regional provinces of the Episcopal Church in the United States, encompassing 11 dioceses in the Midwest—including the Diocese of Wisconsin. Together, we form a supportive network of dioceses working collaboratively to resource one another, share ministry innovations, and live into God’s call across state and city lines.

Think of Province V as a ministry collaboration zone—a kind of “neighborhood” within the national church, where leaders, congregations, and dioceses come together to learn, grow, and do more than we could alone.

By being part of Province V, the Diocese of Wisconsin has access to:

  • Shared formation and training resources

  • Province-wide networks for clergy, deacons, youth ministry, racial justice, creation care, and more

  • Events and conferences (like the annual Big Provincial Gathering)

  • Grants and project incubators that help local ministry thrive

  • A collaborative voice in broader Episcopal Church governance and mission

We are stronger together—and Province V is how we live that truth out in the heart of the country.
