Choral Evensong & Retirement Celebration for Fr. Kevin Carroll
All Saints’ Cathedral, Milwaukee
On Sunday, July 27, the All Saints’ Cathedral community shared in a fond farewell to Father Kevin Carroll, as he heads into retirement.
A moving Evensong service was held, filled with scripture readings, beautiful music, leave-taking traditions, and expressions of thanks to our 21st Dean. Parishioners, clergy, and guests filled the Cathedral to acknowledge and thank Kevin for his ministry and meaning to All Saints’ and the greater diocese.
Kevin has shared that one of his early plans in retirement is to take a trip around the Great Lakes on his Harley Davidson. During the service, the Dean was presented with a gift from the parish – a Harley Davidson leather motorcycle jacket!

Love Journey 2025: A Joyful Finish and Grateful Hearts
Thank you to Fr. David and Dcn. Nancy at St. Matthias, Waukesha, for a wonderful visit exploring ecumenical connections between The Episcopal Church and the PCUSA. After a thoughtful conversation, our group took a stroll and spent time playing and connecting with the kids and older students at Juno House which are pictured
And deep thanks to Dcn. Mike, Stefanie, Brian, Claire, Jane, Sara, David, and the people of the Cathedral of St. Paul, Fond du Lac—our final host site! We helped oil the wood in the historic St. Augustine Chapel, shared a Eucharist (complete with banjo!), and enjoyed a final meal together before parting ways.
As we continue on to new adventures, we offer heartfelt gratitude to all twenty host churches throughout the Diocese of Wisconsin—including those from Eau Claire, Rice Lake, Spooner, Hayward, Springbrook, Wausau, Antigo, Oshkosh, Green Bay, Manitowoc, Madison, Sun Prairie, Milwaukee, Racine, and beyond—and to all local churches and ministries who joined in at each stop. Your warm welcome, hard work, and presence made this pilgrimage truly unforgettable.
