St. John's, Sparta welcomed community members and parade-goers during Butterfest for an afternoon of fellowship, fun, and ice cream. Guests enjoyed root beer floats, ice cream cones, and dishes of ice cream while supporting ongoing building improvement projects at the parish.

Funds raised will help offset the costs of repairs following water damage to the church basement in 2025. Recent improvements have already included repairing major cracks and repainting the walls in the fellowship hall. Refurbishment of the fellowship hall floor is planned as the next phase of the project.

Held alongside Sparta's annual Butterfest Parade, the event provided a wonderful opportunity for parishioners, neighbors, and visitors to gather together while supporting the continued care of St. John's facilities.
