📍 St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Bay View

On Sunday, the children gathered for formation and heard a story from The Jesus Storybook Bible, learning about why we wash feet.

They spent time preparing for Maundy Thursday, with many participating in a gentle introduction to foot washing—discovering how this act reflects Christ’s example of humble service, love, and care for one another.

Most importantly, it was a meaningful and memorable way to begin understanding this sacred part of Holy Week together.

🍀 Shamrocks & Soda Bread

📍 St. Luke’s Episcopal Church (Bay View)

St. Luke’s coffee hours are always a joyful time to gather, and this Sunday brought a touch of the Irish. With shamrocks, pots of gold, and plenty of green, the parish leaned into the spirit of the season.

Of course, no celebration is complete without good food—this week featuring delicious homemade Irish soda bread and other treats shared among friends.

It’s these simple moments of conversation, laughter, and welcome that make community life so rich.

🪨 Prayer on the Bluff

📍 Christ Episcopal Church, La Crosse

Weather may have changed the plan, but the story still came through. Ahead of Sunday, a couple of photos captured a meaningful piece of Christ Church’s history—marking the first service held on the bluff, with words drawn from the Book of Common Prayer.

It’s a quiet reminder that long before buildings and schedules, there were prayers offered in open air—rooting this place in worship that continues today.

Sometimes even a missed Sunday still finds a way to tell the story.

🍲 Soup ’n’ Chat

📍 Holy Nativity Episcopal Church

Folks from Christ the King and Holy Nativity gathered this week in Jameson Hall for “Soup ’n’ Chat”—a simple, warm time of sharing food and conversation.

Between bowls of soup and easy laughter, the afternoon offered space to connect, catch up, and enjoy one another’s company across congregations.

Sometimes church looks like this: a table, a meal, and time to be together.
