📍 Trinity Episcopal Church Wauwatosa

A couple photos from the choir loft at the end of the 10:00 a.m. service on March 1.

They may not be the most publication-ready shots, but they capture a nice moment from the morning—and sometimes those are the best ones to have. Another parishioner was also taking photos of conversations during fellowship later on, so there may be a few more floating around as well.

Most importantly, it was a joy to welcome him celebrating with us for the first time.

🏛️ Holy Communion Recognized Among Lake Geneva’s Historic Places

📍 Church of the Holy Communion Lake Geneva

If you happen to be passing through Lake Geneva’s City Hall, take a moment to stop in the main hall and look for a new addition to the Historic Places of Lake Geneva display.

Because Holy Communion Church is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it has now joined the other nationally recognized sites highlighted in the exhibit. It’s a small but meaningful way the community is celebrating the places that have helped shape the city’s history.

A special thank you goes to Ken Etten and Chris Brookes of the Lake Geneva Historic Preservation Commission for helping make this possible.

Holy Communion is, indeed, one of those old places that still matters.

✈️ From Louisiana with Gratitude

📍 Diocese of Western Louisiana

Matthew Gunter is heading home after spending time in Alexandria, Louisiana, where he joined his friend Jake Owensby and the clergy of the Diocese of Western Louisiana for their Lenten retreat.

Time away like this offers clergy space for prayer, reflection, and renewed focus as the Church moves through the season of Lent together.

Safe travels home, Bishop Matt—and thank you to the Diocese of Western Louisiana for the warm hospitality.
