📍 St. Anne's, De Pere

St. Anne's, De Pere, celebrated the Feast of St. Anne on Sunday, July 26, with an outdoor Eucharist followed by a parish potluck. Around 65 people gathered in a circle around the gazebo, where the altar stood at the center of the assembly, before moving into the parish hall for hamburgers, hot dogs, and a generous spread of shared dishes prepared by the congregation. Filled with conversation, laughter, and fellowship, the day was a joyful celebration of St. Anne's patronal feast and the life the parish continues to share together. Thank you to St. Anne's for sharing these moments with the Diocese of Wisconsin.

🌿 Gathered Around the Table and the Altar

📍 St. Aidan’s, Hartford

St. Aidan's, Hartford, took part in Hartford's Maxwell Street Day on July 8, connecting with neighbors and visitors through a welcoming parish booth. Community events like these offer opportunities to build relationships, share the life of the congregation, and be a visible presence beyond the church walls. Thank you to the people of St. Aidan's for representing their parish in the community and for sharing this moment with the Diocese of Wisconsin.

🌞 Meeting the Community at Maxwell Street Day

Members of The Episcopal Church of Christ the King and Holy Nativity gathered on July 23 for their annual parish picnic at Holy Nativity's Jameson Hall in Jacksonport. The evening featured a delicious meal of fried chicken and a generous assortment of homemade side dishes shared by parishioners, creating a joyful time of fellowship, conversation, and celebration. Thank you to Christ the King and Holy Nativity for sharing this annual tradition and these photos with the Diocese of Wisconsin.

🍗A Summer Tradition of Fellowship

📍 Oshkosh Ecumenical Vacation Bible School

More than 70 children and over 50 youth and adult volunteers came together this summer for Camp Elm Tree, an ecumenical Vacation Bible School serving the Oshkosh community. Hosted through a partnership of Trinity Episcopal Church, ELCA congregations, and United Methodist churches, the largely lay-led program rotates host sites each year and continues to grow through shared ministry, joyful learning, and faithful collaboration. Supported in part by a Diocese of Wisconsin grant, organizers are now building on the week's momentum with plans to pilot middle and high school youth gatherings in the coming year. Thank you to everyone who helped make Camp Elm Tree another memorable week of faith, friendship, and fun.

🌳 Camp Elm Tree Brings Churches Together

📍 St John’s, Sparta

The Episcopal Diocese of Wisconsin Driftless Region Confirmation/ Reception Service with Holy Eucharist was hosted by St. John’s Sparta on July 18, 2026 at 1:00 pm. The Rt. Rev. Matthew Gunter, Bishop of Wisconsin, presiding. Newly appointed Driftless Region Missioner, Fr. Michael Caldwell, Holy Cross, Wisconsin Dells, was in attendance at the event. Also present was Fr. Mike Tess, Good Shepherd, Sun Prairie. Fr. Tess presented Melissa Mae Tarnoff for confirmation. Rev. Mother Kathleen Charles, St. John’s, Sparta presented to Bishop Gunter, Puamomi Fernandez, Jody Erickson, and James Degnan for reception into the Episcopal Church. The flowers at the altar and in the fellowship hall were donated from gardens and arranged by two parishioners at St John’s, Connie and Samaria. A reception with cake, ice cream, coffee and lemonade was held in the newly refurbished fellowship hall at St. John’s following the service.

It was a grand day and celebration. The Holy Spirits presence was indeed felt by all. The celebration continued with a potluck lunch on Sunday morning after the church service.
