Catalog of Available Liturgical Items
The Episcopal Diocese of Wisconsin holds a variety of liturgical items from congregations which have closed, as well as items no longer needed. These are available for distribution with the number one criteria being they are put to use. Parishes are given highest priority, with diocesan individuals (clergy and lay) given next priority. When items do not appear desired by those in the diocese, they are offered beyond the diocese and may be given to a liturgical recycler. Individual recipients are expected to make an appropriate financial donation to the diocese for items of value.
Item Distribution/Transfer
Distribution and transfer of items are determined case by case . When possible, they may be shipped by U.S. mail. UPS, etc… Recipients are expected to cover costs. When necessary, a coordinated hand-off at a convenient place and time may be arranged. This may be a diocesan event, like a clergy conference or convention, a “half-way” point of travel, or by the recipient picking up the items at a site.
UPDATE (April 2025): The current catalog requests will be fulfilled at the Clergy Conference in May 2025. Additional opportunity will be provided before and after the Convention in October at a Stevens Point location.
