Workshop Details
☐ Flourishing Churches and Why
Led by the Rev. Dr. Chris Corbin
Rector of Trinity Episcopal Church, Oshkosh; Chair of the Diocese of Wisconsin Evangelism Committee; and Lead Researcher for the 2026 National Survey of the Practices of Flourishing Episcopal Churches
Fr. Corbin will share findings from the national survey he helped lead examining factors that contribute to flourishing and growing Episcopal congregations. Participants will explore practices that can be adapted within their own churches to encourage vitality, growth, and transformation.
☐ Contemplative Prayer 101
Led by Esther Simonson, DOK
St. Boniface Episcopal Church, Mequon
Esther will offer practical wisdom for engaging in the time-honored practice of contemplative prayer. Learn ways to step away from frantic busyness, become more intentional about resting in God’s presence, and listen for God’s still, small voice.
☐ Creating a Rule of Life
Led by Tami Goodwin, DOK
Trinity Episcopal Church, Oshkosh
For centuries, Christians have developed a personal “Rule of Life” to help shape their daily lives around following Jesus. Tami will guide participants through this practice and explore ways to integrate prayer, relationships, work, rest, service, and other dimensions of life into an intentional pattern of Christian discipleship.
