All Things Great and Small: An Introduction to Biodiversity
When: Sunday, September 7, 2025, 12:00 PM
Where: St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church, 6205 University Avenue, Madison, WI (west side near University Ave & Allen Blvd)
Who: All ages—everyone is welcome; bring a friend!
Presenter: Dr. Rachel Muir, environmental scientist (retired from Federal service across multiple environmental agencies) and member of St. Dunstan’s vestry.
What to expect:
Discover what biodiversity is, why it matters, and how we can protect it. We’ll explore how the other life around us—an estimated 10 million species—supports our food, clothing, and even the air we breathe. The event includes a presentation, hands-on exhibits, and a guided walk around St. Dunstan’s grounds to see our “bit of biodiversity” up close.
