Summer with St. Augustine: Reading Confessions Together

Summer with St. Augustine: Reading Confessions Together

This summer, join St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Sister Bay for a weekly online reading and discussion of St. Augustine's Confessions, one of the most influential spiritual autobiographies ever written.

Part memoir, part prayer, and part theological reflection, Confessions traces Augustine's journey through ambition, doubt, friendship, loss, conversion, and faith. More than 1,600 years after it was written, Augustine's honest exploration of the human heart continues to resonate with readers seeking a deeper understanding of God and themselves.

Participants will read and discuss the Oxford World's Classics edition edited by Henry Chadwick.
