St. Katherine’s, Owen

Sunday, September 7, 2025
📍 St. Katherine’s Episcopal Church, Owen

For Bishop Matt, it was a joy to worship with the faithful folk of St. Katherine’s, a small church engaged in big ministry. The congregation lives out the Gospel by feeding the hungry, serving the homeless, and caring for veterans.

St. Katherine’s journey is a unique one—beginning in the Diocese of Fond du Lac, later part of the Diocese of Eau Claire, and now joyfully rooted in the Diocese of Wisconsin.

Joining God’s Joy

Saturday, September 13, 2025
📍 Trinity Episcopal Church, Oshkosh

The Diocese of Wisconsin gathered at Trinity, Oshkosh, to hear from Dr. Tricia Lyons, who led a rich and engaging conversation on Everyday Evangelism: Joining God’s Joy. With warmth and wisdom, Dr. Lyons invited participants to re-imagine evangelism not as pressure or performance, but as sharing in the joy of God’s love at work in our daily lives.

Through stories, practical insights, and open discussion, she encouraged us to see evangelism as a natural extension of friendship, hospitality, and hope. Participants left inspired to return to their own communities ready to notice and nurture the ways God is already present.

We give thanks for Dr. Lyons’ teaching and for the people of Trinity, Oshkosh, who welcomed us so generously.
