📍 St. Luke’s, Bay View
What a fun-filled weekend at St. Luke’s! Our Sip & Paint on Saturday, November 15 was a huge success as everyone uncorked their creativity and turned blank canvases into true masterpieces. Laughter, color, and community filled the room—and so did generosity! Thank you to everyone who brought canned goods to support the Bay View CC Food Pantry.

🧣Wrapped in Warmth: St. Luke’s Winter Clothing Blessing
📍 St. Luke’s, Bay View
On Sunday, November 16 St. Luke's had a special blessing of all the items collected for the winter clothing drive for St. Joseph's Academy families. In total, St. Luke's - Bay View parish members and their friends at Nestling House graciously donated 83 coats/jackets, 114 scarves, 57 hats, 17 pairs of gloves, 3 pairs of boots, and 3 baby snow pants just in time for the cold weather. Many of the scarves, hats and gloves were handmade by parish members.
St. Joseph Academy is an educational organization that serves children, 6 weeks through 8th grade on the Southside of Milwaukee. Their mission is to educate children to be successful lifelong learners and problem solvers. St. Luke's - Bay View and St. Joseph's have had a partnership for over ten years.

NHB: Deacon Takeover Sunday!
Archdeacon Bill had an absolutely wonderful Deacon Takeover in the Northern Highlands Benefice! He was able to serve at two of the four churches churches and to spend time with deacons and postulants that support the benefice model under Mother Nozipho Dlodlo. It was a joy-filled Sunday of worship, connection, and great conversation—an inspiring reminder of the gifts and our ministry leaders bring to the life of the diocese.

📍 St. Francis Episcopal Church, Menomonee Falls
What an absolutely wildly wonderful weekend! Students and adults from all across our diocese packed the church with laughter, music, questions, snacks, and the kind of joyful chaos that only happens when you put this many awesome humans in one place. From singing in the pews and late-night conversations to big belly-laugh moments, goofy selfies, and deep quiet during worship, every corner of the building felt alive. These photos are proof that when this crew gets together, something electric happens—faith, friendship, and fun braided together in the best possible way complete with giant UNO cards.
To everyone who came—kids, teens, grown-ups, mentors, and every delightful goofball in between—you made this weekend unforgettable. The way you showed up with open hearts, curious minds, and the willingness to dive right in turned an ordinary few days into something bright and buzzing with joy. We hope these snapshots bring back all the best moments: the inside jokes, the “you had to be there” moments, the prayers, the silliness, and the sense that this is what it feels like to be part of a diocesan family that loves showing up for each other.
